Want Links? Get the Right Links!

Every website owner wants links from other sites. It’s one of the surest ways for people to find your site.
But there are good links and there are not-so-good links. Wiep Knol, a link building professional who lives and works in The Netherlands, tells you how to get the right kinds of links in his article, Get Good Backlinks, for the Learn section of AboutUs.org.

Wiep explains in Get Good Backlinks that getting the right links is a lot like getting the right referrals in the non-digital world. He also tells you why the wrong links are not just useless, but potentially harmful to your website’s reputation and its ranking in search engine results.
Wiep knows quite a bit about linking — he’s the co-founder of Linkbuilding.nl, a link building consulting and services firm located in Leiden. He also writes about link building on his blog, Wiep.net — in English!
Get Good Backlinks is the newest article in the growing library of articles for business owners at AboutUs.org. If there’s a topic you would like us to cover, we’d like to hear from you. Or perhaps you’d like to author an article yourself. Either way, contact me at Aliza@AboutUs.org. I’ll be happy to hear from you.
